Please be advised that due to the extremely high volume of household waste, Texas pride disposal is suspending all recycle collection services for the remainder of this week. Our focus for the remainder of the week will be on the collection of household waste only.

TEXAS PRIDE DISPOSAL HURRICANE BERYL – UPDATE 7/13/24

Service Update:

Garbage routes are running as scheduled. In the event they are not completed on your scheduled day, they will be the following. Landfills are accommodating the additional volume and wait times with extended hours. This may include Saturday routes completing on Sunday.

A maximum of 3 bags of yard waste and recycle collection will resume the week of July 15th. No bundled branches will be collected.

Larger volumes of storm debris are the responsibility of the County or City. Contact your local government for further details.

Drought Stage 1 Rescinded

Dear Customer:

Harris Fort Bend Counties Municipal Utility District No. 3 has rescinded Stage 1 (voluntary) water conservation measures. The West Harris County Regional Water Authority, also has rescinded its Stage 1 (voluntary) water conservation measures.

The Board of Directors appreciates your cooperation and perseverance during this Conservation Condition.

Voluntary Water Use Restrictions

Dear Customer:

Due to ongoing drought conditions, the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) initiated Stage 1 water conservation measures. Because Harris-Fort Bend Counties MUD 3 is located within the boundaries of the WHCRWA, we are required to initiate Stage 1 of our Drought Contingency Plan which includes voluntary water conservation measures. The WHCRWA and the District may require mandatory water use restrictions if conditions worsen. Effective immediately, the following voluntary water use restrictions are in place:.   • Customers with even numbered addresses (addresses ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8) are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaping and other areas to even numbered dates (dates ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8).
  • Customers with odd numbered addresses (addresses end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9) are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaping and other areas to odd numbered dates (dates ending in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9).
  • Common areas such as esplanades or sports fields are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaping to even numbered dates.
  • Irrigation should be limited to the hours between 8:00pm on designated days, 6:00 am on the following days.

The Board of Directors of the district appreciates your cooperation and perseverance during these conservation effects. Once stage 1 ends, we will notify you, and you may then return to normal usage. If conditions should worsen, it may be necessary to proceed to Stage 2, at which time you will be notified of the more stringent and mandatory restrictions to ensure the availability of water in your community.

Recycling Update – January 13, 2023

As we continue to work to get past our freeze suspension delays as well as holiday volume, all recycle routes will be collected with garbage the week of January 9-14.

We have been unable to catch up on service due to these reasons, and need to utilize all crews to clean up all areas and reset our schedule. If you do not want your recycle disposed of, please hold it and place it out next week.
